MWArchitectural is a design-led CIAT Chartered Practice, offering exceptional architectural solutions since its inception in 2017. We specialise in bespoke residential design with a contemporary focus although are experts in achieving financial viability and innovative creativity within a range of commercial settings.

We have completed projects for current and prospective home-owners, businesses, developers and builders. While we take a special pride in serving our home city of Coventry, we have successfully delivered schemes with wonderful clients across the country including Solihull, Llandrindod Wells, South London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Hereford, Shrewsbury and Leicester. We adapt our offering to suit our clients' needs and this can include working remotely depending on the brief.

The studio is led by Matt Willemsen, an award-winning Chartered Architectural Technologist. Initially trained as a technologist at Coventry University, Matt returned to architectural education through the lesser-known but incredibly well-respected RIBA Studio route delivered by the Royal Institute of British Architects through the Oxford School of Achitecture at OBU. His training then continued at Cambridge University, where he is currently completing a Masters degree in architecture. Matt was previously nominated by his peers for the national CIAT 'Emerging Talent in Architecture Technology' 2021 award which he won. He has previous experience ranging from rewarding single-storey residential extensions to new commercial projects worth hundreds of millions of pounds for international organisations. He takes great pleasure in seeking the delivery of small details that build to a whole and is passionate about progressing an architecture that produces tangible, real benefits to its users and to society at large.
